The number five is significant, and this is a significant moment for us.” With those words, American band Hollywood Undead launched its fifth studio album in late October. The five musicians are known for hiding their identities behind nicknames and their faces behind masks. Hollywood Undead formed in Los Angeles in 2005, astounding the music world three years later with its blend of rock, hip-hop and industrial on its debut album Swan Songs, which later reached platinum. Next came “gold” album American Tragedy, which hit No. 4 on the Billboard 200, followed by their third album Notes from the Underground hitting the chart two years later at No. 2.In 2015 Hollywood Undead released their fourth album, Day of the Dead, featuring a song of the same name, which has been streamed on Spotify by over 21 million users and has 17 million views on YouTube.
