STONE SOUR Friday, 29.6.

He cooperated with Korn, Distrurbed, Anthrax or Soulfly, and today he is the frontman of two very successful bands at the same time – Slipknot and Stone Sour. It seems that where the singer and the songwriter and after Mike Patton the owner of the second largest vocal range (5 and a half octave), Corey Taylor, appears, there is the origin of a success. Stone Sour have sold over four million copies of their six albums, just after their eponymous debut in 2002 that brought them two Grammy awards, and they were marked as the most promising hard rock discovery of the 21st century. The nomination for another Grammy for the single “30/30-150” from the album Come What (Ever) May, which debuted on 1st place in Billboards rock chart, followed. Their monumental two-part album “House Of Gold & Bones – Part 1” and “Part 2” hit the top ten in Billboard and brought five hits like Abnotete Zero, Do Me A Favour or Tired. In its royal way the band continues also this year, when at the end of June it released its sixth studio recording Hydrograd. It debuted in the Billboard TOP 200 in the eighth place, and made five successful singles (like Fabuless or the current Rose Red Violet Blue), and won the Hard Rock “album of the year” in October at the Loudwire Music Awards.
